Fillers or bulking agents?
We aim to keep our formulas as clean, natural and affordable as possible.
In this product, a small amount of microcrystalline cellulose is used to help ensure tablets are filled consistently and that each serving delivers the correct amount of active ingredient.
Microcrystalline cellulose is a natural plant fibre typically derived from plant sources such as wood pulp. It is widely used in food and supplements to help keep ingredients evenly distributed and ensure tablets are formed consistently.
A small amount of magnesium stearate may also be used during manufacturing. Magnesium stearate is made from magnesium and stearic acid, a naturally occurring fatty acid found in foods such as coconut oil and cocoa butter. In supplement manufacturing it helps prevent ingredients from sticking to equipment, allowing tablets to be produced accurately and consistently.
